I have experience in every phase of learning projects. Am I an analyst, a designer, a developer, a facilitator, or a project manager? The answer is yes.

My Story

My journey began at a small tech company where I did everything, from start to finish, to help folks get better with their software. I still geek out over technology and get excited about connecting data and learning to make things work better.

I spent the next decade managing training and learning projects from inception to completion in a winding journey that led through customer education in a start up environment, facilitating technical training as a consultant, strategizing new hire onboarding and training in operations, to designing enterprise talent development programs in a corporate university.

My start up roots never really left me and I've spent most of my career working across multiple learning areas simultaneously - analyzing data, developing curriculums, facilitating classes, making videos, building online courses, writing technical stuff, leading projects, and creating experiential programs for skill development.

I really enjoy using data, research, and critical thinking to find out why things go wrong, try out new effective ways to help people perform, and focusing on what learners truly need to be successful.

I've worked with subject matter that includes sales, customer service, insurance, professional development, and business processes but my love of using technology to increase efficiency and solve problems is still one of my guiding principles.

This has led to some of my greatest achievements including:

teaching trainers to work with our LMS more effectively,
working with developers to leverage user stories and Figma wireframes for training purposes,
creating data literacy training to help newbies get started with analysis in practical ways,
and helping call center agents adapt to ongoing software changes.

In every role I often lead the charge in outcomes focused on digital literacy, digital adoption, 21st century skills - and most recently Generative AI 🤖.

Oh, and along the way I've picked up some fancy degrees and certificates in graphic design, instructional design, technology, project management, virtual training, and development tools.
